Meet the Team
Katrina Prince
President
A retired educator, Katrina Prince was employed with Portales Schools for 21 years. She received both her Bachelors' and Masters' degrees from Eastern New Mexico University. She has two grown children and is the proud grandparent of two incredible grandchildren. She treasured working with the gifted students in first through 8th grades for 20 years and finds gifted students to be both wonderfully fascinating and challenging! She believes that programs such as Destination Imagination are critical to the development of future generations.
Jennifer Staski
Vice President
Jennifer Staski has ten years of teaching experience in both special education and in gifted education. She currently is the gifted and talented teacher for Ruidoso Schools and is supervising the Warrior Online Program. She also is a member of the district Autism team and develops social-emotional curriculum for k-5 students. She is a National Board Certified Gifted and Special Education teacher. She has been a team manager for Destination Imagination for 4 years now.
Neily Snook
Treasurer
Neily Snook has 23 years of teaching experience and is the Elementary Enrichment teacher for Aztec Municipal School District. She collaborates with educators to create challenging and supportive socioemotional learning environments for exceptional students. Through the creative and critical thinking program of Destination Imagination, Mrs. Snook seeks to empower students to develop their divergent and convergent thinking skills. Mrs. Snook is a National Board-Certified Teacher and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in General Psychology with an Emphasis in Cognition and Instruction.
Kathleen Asher
Secretary
Kathleen Asher was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and started her involvement with CPNMI in elementary school. She joined the board as a junior member in high school, and has been volunteering ever since, becoming the Secretary of the CPNMI board in 2016.
Kathleen graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2017 with a degree in Biology and now works as an Educational Assistant for Albuquerque Public Schools.
